Island Kava has probably been the best thing that’s happened to Long Island in a long time.  If you haven’t already, go try their signature drinks for a nice relaxing time to unwind.  I’ve been to a few Kava bars, but they take the contest for NY.  Their drinks are amazing, but it doesn’t stop there!  The environment is an experience in and of itself.  It’s a warm bar, with dimmed lights, chill music and extremely friendly and helpful staff.  And with that type of vibe, you can only imagine the type of people you’ll encounter.  Gifted, knowledgeable, friendly individuals are always hanging out inside.  I’ll bet you could talk to anyone there, and they’d be more than happy to have a conversation with you about anything!  I, myself, feel like I’m part of a family while I’m there.  Basically all my friends that I’ve recently made are because of Island Kava.  Most of the regulars are very sweet people as well, and any of them would be happy to point you in the right direction if you’re struggling to decide on what to pick on their menu.  The owners, Ryan and Eric, are very genuine and talented individuals as well.  They truly care about their business and do their absolute best to make sure all their customers are happy.  And the best is for last are The Bartenders!  Always happy to help and extremely informative when its your first time.  Jon especially makes sure that you are always taken care of and he always makes the experience a pleasure.  It wouldn’t be our Island Kava Family without him.  I’ll stop here, because I could ramble on forever.  Check out Island Kava!
